After the successfull introduction of the Alfa Romeo 8C in 2003, Alfa decided to launch a Sider version of its beautiful coupé in 2010. Only 500 pieces were made of the 8C.
Hans Baakman made this painting of the Spider version of the 8C with its predecessor in the background, the 8C which was produced from 1930-1935.

In 2010 the Alfa Romeo Giulietta was introduced at the Geneva Motor Show. Alfa re-introduced the famous Giulietta name after more than 25 years. The car replaced the Alfa Romeo 147. In the 2011 European Car of the Year Awards the Giulietta placed second. Between the years 2010 and 2019, production reached over more than 400.000. In 2021 this model went out of production.
