From an early age, Hans Baakman has been infected with the car virus. As a child he went to Formula 1 races at Zandvoort and that made a big impression. As soon as he got home, he started drawing the cars. This was not without merit, because when Hans was a student, he achieved the fourth place in a Volvo design competition. He is now the owner of the advertising agency Sterk Merk and is also creative in his own time.

But the love for cars? It never left! Hans still paints and airbrushes cars in his spare time. This is what he loves doing the most. Several limited editions of his artworks have already been released.

The Gallery in Brummen has been a big name in the world of classic car enthusiasts for over 35 years. The family business is the largest classic car dealer in Europe and sells classic cars all over the world.

Because beautiful classics deserve an appropriate setting, The Gallery is located in an impressive building with the atmosphere of a museum.
