The Lamborghini Miura was the first supercar with a rear mid-engined two-seat layout. The sportscar was produced by the Italian automaker between 1966 and 1973. When released, it was the fastest production road car of it’s time. The Miura’s debuted at the 1966 Geneva Motor Show. Showgoers and motoring were very impressed by Marcello Gandini’s brilliant design and the car’s revolutionary mid-engine concept.
